Clinical Research of Ontario (CRON) is a privately owned clinical research site based in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, a community known for its diverse urban population. We conduct clinical trials in collaboration with global pharmaceutical companies, CROs, and biotech firms. As a full-service research site, we manage all on-site clinical trial activities, including participant recruitment, informed consent, study coordination, data collection, and safety monitoring.
All trials at CRON are overseen by CPSO-licensed Principal Investigators (PIs) and Sub-Investigators (Sub-Is) with extensive experience across a range of therapeutic areas, including Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Women’s Health, Central Nervous System, Respiratory, Hepatology, Dermatology, and many more.
Our multidisciplinary team includes clinical research coordinators, pharmacists, nurses, regulatory specialists, phlebotomists, and laboratory technicians who work together to conduct clinical trials with a strong focus on patient safety and data integrity.
Our Facility
We are located within the Finch Midland Medical Centre, a hub with access to many physicians, making it an ideal location for patient referrals. Our site features three exam rooms, a laboratory room, a conference room, secure investigational product (IP) storage, and a spacious patient waiting area. Patients benefit from convenient on-site parking and close proximity to TTC transit. The facility is also fully wheelchair accessible.
Within the Medical Centre, we have access to LifeLabs, Ultimate Diagnostics, and Finch Midland Pharmacy, providing on-site access to lab testing, imaging, and medication services. We are also located near Scarborough Health Network – Birchmount Hospital, providing access to medical resources and specialist support.
